Mr. McGonagle is an experienced software product development executive, most recently serving as VP-Software Engineering at Kronos’ Hiring Solutions Group. Prior to arriving, via acquisition, at Kronos, Mr. McGonagle has held several executive positions, including CTO at Deploy Solutions, and co-founder and CTO at Exchange Applications. In his 20 years as a software engineering executive Mr. McGonagle has successfully led engineering teams of all different sizes, from 6 to 200 people, working on a wide variety of software ranging from applications to system software. Most recently working in the CRM and Human Capital spaces, he has broad experience in new product definition and development, team building and leading engineering turn-around efforts. The aspect of this that Mr. McGonagle enjoys the most is providing leadership, management and organization to the typically chaotic work of software development, all without stifling the creativity that is so crucial in that environment. Mr. McGonagle also has extensive experience in near-shoring and off-shoring, having managed teams in Toronto and India. At Deploy Solutions he led the transition of the India-based team from out-source to full time employee status.
